‘’Having found a quest to meet the demand for a greater understanding in my area of expertise, Accounting, I was motivated to start lessons to assist learners. Originally tutoring a small group of learners, I began to see the value in tutoring as learners felt more comfortable asking questions which improved their understanding in Accounting and their overall confidence.
I started to establish patterns of difficulty in each section as well as reading challenges in examination-type questions. This experience and insight helped me to better understand the mindset of learners and how to adapt and tailor my approach.’’
